Judith Diane Thomas of Virginia Beach passed away on 11-3-15 at the age of 72. She is preceded by son Joseph Long, sister Ruth Williamson and survived by her husband George Thomas children James long, Jonette Wright, John and Tracy Long, Jerry and Tammy Long, one brother Walter Sparrow Jr., one sister Wilhelminia Moore and Elizabeth Thomas as well as 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. There will be a memorial service on sat 11-14-15 at 10am Altmeyer Funeral Home on Greenwich Rd for any who would like to attend. The family request that in lue of flowers donations be made to your local Parkinson foundation

Diane and her children were like family to us when we lived on Hyde Circle. I have kept her in my heart all these years. My deepest condolences to her family, to her husband and her children. May she rest with God.
I got to live with Diane and my dad for a short while some years ago before his passing. The was a wonderful person and a great friend. We shared a lot of time making stuff and sometimes just hanging out. I know how it feel to lose your mon. She is and will be dearly missed.
