Juanito Abero Jimenez passed away on August 4 2022 in Norfolk, Va. Mr. Juanito Jimenez was born on June 16, 1939 in Santa Rosa, Bangued Abra Philippines to Ambrocio and Dolores Jimenez.  He was a Vietnam Veteran in the U.S. Navy

Juanito and his wife, Juanita Jimenez, grew up in the province of Bangued Abra. They both attended Araneta University in the Philippines and married on January 12 1966.

In 1960 Juanito enlisted in the US Navy.  He and Juanita relocated and settled in Norfolk, Virginia and he became a US citizen in 1970. The Jimenez’ union brought forth three children, Roderick, Emily and Paul. Left to also cherish his memory are Mark, Juelle and Ronald Jimenez, along with many friends and family.  Juanito was a dedicated to his family.  His family and friends describe him as a man with a kind heart. 

A Funeral Liturgy will be held from 5:30 PM with visitation to follow from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5033 Rouse Dr., Virginia Beach.   

A graveside service will be held Friday, August 19, 2022 at 11:00 am at Albert G Horton Cemetery, 5310 Milners Rd., Suffolk.  The family request quests wear a white top for the graveside services.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.
