Josh,
Some folks do not need to better themselves. They’re the best already.
Some folks have nothing, but still share.
You gave me your food because although you were hungry yourself, you knew I needed it.
In return I made you a promise. I will keep that promise.
I fondly remember our talks with Freddy. We were not in the best of places but we shared our loves, those who love us. And you loved and are loved.

My son, Colin, stood over him and protected him from oncoming traffic. He prayed over him and begged God to keep him safe. He was terrified, he is only 16. He helped to find his phone to call his wife those were the last words he heard him mumble. True love is to think of others in your time of need. He showed such love to want to call her and speak with her. I don’t know much of the story as Colin has kept it all inside once he learned God called him home to keep him safe in heaven. Colin is angry, sad, and confused. One moment Colin admired his bike and waved to him and he kindly waved back then went ahead. He gave Colin a thumbs up as he passed which made Colin’s evening. The next moment he saw him being struck by a car and then he disappeared over the wall. Colin jumped out of his truck grabbing a flashlight to find him on the other side of the jersey wall and when he did, he used the flashlight to warn the oncoming drivers of his whereabouts to keep them from running him over. He was never alone. Colin was looking forward to seeing him recover in the hospital and talk about bikes. Losing him has hit Colin hard your brief encounter on 264 has forever changed him. It will never make sense to Colin or anyone, but I wanted to reach out to let his wife and children know he was not alone and they were on his heart when he was taken from this world.

Our condolences go out to Donna, Ava and Caleb on the loss of their husband and dedicated father, Josh. He was the best father and Aircraft Mechanic the Tyonek/Zenetex team could ask for. His personality resonated throughout our work site with his big smile and steadfast work ethic and dedication to his job. He unselfishly volunteered to do whatever was was needed and always greeted everyone, everyday, with the utmost respect. He was the model employee and father and he will be greatly missed. The best Aircraft Mechanic in the business. Josh came to us in July of 2017, and never failed to meet expectations. He always rose above and beyond the daily routine and provided the best quality aircraft maintenance a person could ask for. Thank you for being the best you could be. Rest in peace Josh, your Tyonek/Zenetex brothers and sisters will miss you greatly.
