Moyock – Josephine De Marchis, 88, died July 28, 2015. Mrs. De Marchis was born in Harrisburg, PA to the late Salvatore and Jannitti “Anna” Zametti Sevartiana Pizzo. Mrs. De Marchis enjoyed caring for her family. She was kind and generous to everyone she met. Sewing was her passion. She was generous with her skill. She made clothing, prom gowns, bridesmaid gowns and even a wedding gown for family and friends at no cost. She made Catholic school uniforms for a needy family. She was predeceased by her husband, Americo A. De Marchis.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Arleen Newman of Temecula, CA and son Louis A. De Marchis and his wife Irene of Moyock, NC; grandchildren, Robert and Cynthia; and great grandchildren, Kainen, Asher, and Rhys.
A graveside service will be held on Monday at 11:15 am at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veteran’s Cemetery with Fr. Brian Rafferty officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.
