SUFFOLK – José Ernesto Pagán, 58, died August 4, 2022.  José was born in New York, NY.  He was a veteran having served in the US Navy for over 20 years.  José enjoyed watching martial arts movies and his two favorite teams, the New York Mets and the New York Giants.

Left to cherish His memory are his parents Delia Almonté and Antonio Pagán, siblings, Magda Pagán-Jones (Kenneth), of Suffolk, VA, Antonio Pagán Jr, of Puerto Rico, his son Stephen Anthony Pagán, (Tonya) of Colorado, nieces Madelynn Velázquez, of Suffolk, VA, Desiree Velázquez, of Portsmouth VA. And a host of other nieces, nephews, great niece, great nephews and family.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 12:00pm with military honors, followed by a repass at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Chesapeake, VA 23322.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Express condolences to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.

As we bid your farewell it’s a hard to know you are gone
We will all cherish all the Memories of our carefree youth with you . We will think of you sometime smile laugh or cry but all with high regard . May god keep your in his arms and you receive your spiritual graduation
