I am very sorry to hear about this. I just heard the news today I am very sorry I didn’t send flowers. Johnny had a heart of gold! I still remember going to a school in VA beach while I was in the Navy and it happened to be around Easter. John came and picked me up and let me celebrate with his family. Rest in peace my friend!

Big John and his family were legendary at Kellam HS. He was always a supporter of the school programs and students. His business was certainly legendary as well. He was a fine man who spoke his mind but usually had a solid foundation behind his words. May he Rest In Peace.

Johnny was one of a kind…the BEST kind! I will always remember in the 70s that he would make sure that everyone got safely to their car after The Raven OR The Shack. He was so very kind always. Our deepest and heartfelt condolences are extended to Johnny’s family. Rest in Peace Johnny.
