Jocelyn Oleta Level, 62, lost her valiant battle with cancer and went to be with the Lord, while peacefully sleeping at home on January 17, 2022. Jocelyn was born to the late Arnold and Betty (Wallace) Brower on November 11, 1959 in Brooklyn, New York.
Jocelyn loved cooking, planting flowers in her garden, traveling to new places and spending time with family. She was an absolute joy to be around. Jocelyn touched the hearts of many.  She was greatly love and will be missed deeply.
Other than her parents, Jocelyn is preceded in death by her brothers, Danny and Kenneth Brower.
Left to cherish her loving memory is her husband, Troy Level, Sr.; step-son Troy Level, Jr.; grandchild, Azura Level; brothers: Joseph (Mia) Brower and Jermaine (Marisela) Brower; her aunt Kendra Chenault; godmother, Ojean Lilly and many more extended family members and countless friends.
A celebration of life will be held for Jocelyn Level at Altmeyer Funeral Home Southside Chapel (5033 Rouse Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23462) on Wednesday, January 26 at 11:00 AM. I remember her and I as children, her family would come out to our Aunt Mary and Uncle Rudolph house and I couldn’t wait to see her, she was always so full of life, I’m going to miss that sunshine, Rest In Peace darlin , you’re pain is no more.

I just would like to express my deepest condolences, to all that loved and cared for Jocelyn. Jocelyn, she was always straight to the point, she didn’t hold her tongue. Most of all I loved Jocshlyn because she was constant, she was real. May you rest in peace and may heaven shine upon you sis. I’m missing you already. Love you forever.
