Jeralyn was called home to God on June 10th, 2022. She was born on April 24th, 1963 in Lafayette, Indiana to parents Gail Peter (McKinley) and Leo Peter. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Barry Queen; sons Jonathan Queen and Kenneth Scott Queen; Mother Gail Peter; sisters Shelley (Jeff Warden, Rachel, Keith) and Patrice (Don Warren). She is also loved by sister-in-law Carolyn and nephews Justin and Mark Ryan. She joins in heaven her father Leo Peter, brother Jeffrey Allen, father-in-law William “Buddy” Queen, mother-in-law Shirley Queen, and sister-in-law Melody Broadus.

Jeralyn was a life-long caregiver. She took care of all of the youngsters of the family at some point in their lives and also cared for the adults when the time came. An animal lover through and through, she also joins beloved dog, Cindy, in heaven but is survived by her emotional support dog, Chloe.

A true fighter, Jeralyn’s fiery dedication and perseverance never faltered. Her loving nature was unmatched and unrivaled. Her dedication to her family remains a mark of pride. Those lucky enough to have met her will forever be graced by her strength, love, and support.

A service to commemorate her memory will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 at 3:30 PM at Altmeyer Funeral Home- Southside Chapel.
