Jenny Seeley passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, December 31, 2023. Jenny was born December 8, 1958 in Norfolk, VA a daughter of the late Robert and Audrey Seeley. She was a graduate of Lake Taylor High School and was a life member of Beta Alpha Master, a chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Jenny was also a Virginia Realtor and Property Manager for more than 30 years.

Jenny was happily reunited with her parents, Robert and Audrey; her brother, Rodney and her daughter, Virginia Gail, who preceded her in death.  Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jessica McKinney-Trosky and stepson, Jeremy Frady. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jenna, Malaya, Jordan, Tyler, Caroline and Landon as well as her sister, Laurie Seeley and her brother, Mark Seeley.

She realized her dream of becoming an Ordained Minister of her own Uniquely Sacred Spiritual Center and was the Founder of Divinely Unified where she had the honor of teaching and sharing her love and light with so many. Jenny never met a stranger, and everyone became instant friends with her.  She not only opened her heart too so many, but her home as well.

A celebration of Jenny’s life will be held at 1pm Saturday, January 6, 2023 at Greenbrier Community Church, 825 Greenbrier Parkway, Chesapeake, VA 23320.  Friends may begin gathering at 12 Noon at the church.  A reception will follow the service at her nephew, Michael’s home where her life will continue to be remembered.  The family asks that you wear festive attire to this celebration to honor Jenny.

Today is Jan 7 and I just learned that Jenny made her transition a week ago. I am shocked but also blessed to have known such a remarkable person. I am tremendously grateful to have had an opportunity to know and work with her. Her journey has only just begun and we will all hear and rejoice with her again. And we’ll all continue to be blessed by her light.

I went to Azalea Jr. High with Jenny. We were both redheads and stuck together. I just looked at my yearbook and it brought back such sweet memories. I am so sad to hear of her passing. My thoughts go out to her family and friends.
