Jasper Joseph Denson, Sr.

July 17, 1937 - January 24, 2024

07/17/1937 - 01/24/2024

Jasper (Jack) Joseph Denson Sr. went home to be with our Heavenly Father in the early morning of January 24th, 2024, at the age of 86. He was at home with family in Chesapeake, Virginia.
Born on July 17, 1937, to (birth mom) Alice Elizabeth Burrell and raised by his mother and father Minnie Elizabeth and Robert Joseph Denson in Courtland, Virginia.
Leaving behind 7 siblings; Vernon, Shirly (passed 2003), Marjorie (Margie), Sylvia (Tootsie), Frank, Robert (Bubba), and Lucy
Jack married Helen Frances Mayo (deceased 1996) on February 3, 1947, in Norfolk, Virginia. They had 5 children; Jasper Joseph Jr., Robert (deceased 2016), Ronald, Helen Lenora (deceased, 2021), and Sharon.
After being married 15+ years, Jack and Helen divorced.
Jack married Sheryl Flowers in 1975 in Rhode Island. They had 2 children; Joseph (deceased, 2023), and Amanda. After a number of years, they divorced.
Sometime after, Jack married Doris Morlino of New Jersey. No children and later divorced.
In 1997, Jack married Clair. No children, and sometime after their divorce, Clair passed.
Jack left behind his loving children; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jack will forever be remembered as a traveling man who made friends everywhere. Riding his Harley Davidson, driving limousines, to Semi-trucks. Jack truly did have a full life filled with many stories and amazing experiences while traveling. Before traveling, he owned a gas station and after a small catering business.
Jack lived the fast life, the life of a slow and steady man. He secretly wore his heart on his sleeve. Underneath, he was a simple man who knew what he wanted.
Jack was a son, brother, uncle, father, grandad, and great grandad. He will always be on our minds and forever in our hearts. His presence will be missed, and his memories will be treasured. Loving him always. Forgetting him never.
Rest in Paradise
