Janie Marie Walker, aged 96, of Chesapeake, passed away in her home on April 10th, 2022. Altmeyer Funeral Home-Chesapeake Chapel, assisted with arrangements.

I have so many memories with Aunt Janie and I never remember a bad experience with her, ever! Even when I had to help do dishes when we’d have family gatherings at her house on Jack Frost Road. And you all know how large our family was when we all got together! OMG, who has that many dishes?! It was always good to be with the family and I think the reason we met at her house instead of anyone else’s most of the time is because she had the biggest yard and we could scream and yell all we wanted and they barely hard us in the house! I love you aunt Jeannie and I will always cherish every memory I ever had of you. Always, Sheila
