Jane is my sister; and losing her is a difficult thing to bear. I’m sure we had conflicts as children, but right now, I can’t remember any of anything significant. I do remember that as the older sibling, she always did her best to keep me out of trouble, and trouble was always easy for me to find. I especially remember her perpetual smile and her beautiful voice, and all the evenings she sang to me while I dried the dishes she washed after the evening meals at home. She was a great sister to have, and a great wife to Jim, and a great mother to Brian and Jason. She was a person who always seemed to do the right thing in almost every situation. She had character and integrity and a loving nature. I’ll miss our talks on the phone over the past few years, even though we lived miles apart, but I know we’ll be seeing each other again in Heaven, because God has promised that he has prepared a peaceful eternal life for us, by His side. I love you Sis. Rest in peace.
