James W. Farmer II, 60, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. James was born in Radford, Virginia on October 28, 1954. He was a Millwright by trade and loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with friends and family. He will be missed by all.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia G. Farmer, two daughters Emily Stewart and her husband Scott, Amber Rodgers and her husband Cameron, one sister, Ramona Wicker, four grandchildren and one on the way, and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 2:00pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Virginia Oncology (Lake Wright).
