Graveside service.

James Stephen Brock, 48, passed away unexpectedly March 30, 2016. He was born in North Carolina to Nell Quinn Brock and the late Alton James Brock. Jimmy, as he was known, loved cars and anything outside. You could find him mudding, boating, camping, shooting guns, or having a drink while he listened to his favorite music, loudly. Jimmy was one of a kind. He was the life of the party and a great story teller; he loved making people laugh. His biggest love was his family, children, grandchildren, and dogs.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Nell Brock; children, Jacob and Megan Brock; grandchildren; Cody, Makayla, Zoey, and Silvia; siblings, Alton J Brock Jr, David Brock, and Susan Brawley; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
A graveside service will take place Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 11 am in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, located at 691 Princess Anne Rd. Virginia Beach, VA. The family will be receiving friends Monday evening, April 4th, from 6-8pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home- Maestas Chapel, 1801 Baltic Ave. Virginia Beach, VA 23451.

You were my partner in crime growing up, and a good friend. From building bikes in the back yard to playing matchbox cars under the kitchen table. I could always count on you to help me get in trouble! Give Uncle a hug for me, I’ll miss you and love you always cuz.

My little brother, you taught me so much. You taught me how to ride a bike and 4 wheel my jeep at the beach. You were my first best friend. You lived your life the way you wanted to, and for that I will always respect you. I miss you so much already, but I feel that your really busy now in the after life. I’ll always love you, and I’ll cherish the fun we had together growing up and raising our kids. Rest tenderly in peace, until I see you again, all my love, your sister Suzanne
