Sorry for the loss of your dear love one. May you find comfort in God’s promise to swallow up death forever and wipe the tears from all faces. Isaiah 25:8
I meet Jimmy just about a month ago. He came highly recommended to do some work on my garage. During the week he was at my house working I had the opportunity to talk with him and learn how much he loved his family and that he was really trying to be the kind of person God wanted him to be. I’m glad that he shared some of his life story with me because it gave me the opportunity to remind him that God loved him . He left my house that day smiling and as he left he said “yes, God loves us”.

THE SCENT OF ROSES
Bury me down
Six feet deep
Ashes to ashes
My soul will never sleep
Toss the dirt upon my body
For it will all be washed away
The scent of roses linger on
From beyond the grave
My spirit cannot survive
Beneath the ground
So I must find shelter
As I walk along the path of trees
A beautiful home is waiting for me
With a roof of perfectly laid shingles
A door to knock upon
And a window to view the world
But in this room I am not alone
For all are welcome
In the house of the Lord
