Jack Robert Davis Jr., 77, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015. He was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Jack Davis Sr. and Dorothy Guy.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 51 years, Faye Davis; son, Jack Davis and his wife Rosaria and their son Gage Lane Davis; daughter, Alicia Wilson and her husband Jeffery; daughter, Jennifer Davis; two sisters, one brother, and many other family and friends. The family would like to thank Jack and Jean Boutchyard, Faye’s sister and brother-in-law, who provided her with such loving care and support. Jack was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman; he was a wonderful and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Davis was a family man but also cherished two very special friends, Joe and Phyllis Goodwin.
A private graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or the Hospice and Palliative Care of Tidewater. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.

Faye, Alicia, Jack and Jennifer – We are very sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. We had very good times together and remember fondly the fishing trips and Christmases and time we spent together. We love you all. Ken Miller and Leanne
It is hard to express how honored I was to be a part of Jack’s final days. You all did everything anyone could have asked for. Haven no regrets. You gave him the dignity, grace, and love he so much deserved. You are a remarkable Legacy of his life and love and he will live on through you all. May God comfort and keep you during the coming days and grant you the pace you deserve.
