DOUGLAS
SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR MOM AND DAD. THEY WERE WONDERFUL PEOPLE.
WE (SILLS) ENJOYED OUR TRIPS TO CREEDS EVERY SUMMER TO SEE ALL OUR RELATIVES THERE. I ALWAYS CONSIDERED YOUR MOM AN AUNT RATHER THAN A COUSIN. THEY ALWAYS MADE OUR STAY FOR THE WEEK VERY MEMORABLE. WE KNOW YOU TOOK GOOD CARE OF YOUR PARENTS WHEN THEY BECAME VERY ILL. THEY WERE GOOD PARENTS AND YOU A WONDERFUL SON. WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE GOOD MEMORIES WE HAVE OF ALL OUR RELATIVES IN CREEDS. YOU WILL BE IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.

Douglas,

Our heartfelt prayers are with you during this difficult time. For the past twenty-seven years we have had the pleasure of being your parent’s neighbors. From red potatoes to hand crafted Christmas tree ornaments to fence-side chats, Harold and Erma Lou have truly been wonderful to know! Their biggest pleasure in life was you, their son. Always remember what your dad told me just three weeks ago. “Douglas is the best son anyone could ever ask for.” I really think God wanted me to hear those words so that I could tell you. Now, you just need to believe them and cherish all the memories. God bless, we will miss them!!

Love,

Kenny, Dolores, Charlotte, and Matthew
