Gustavo Diaz, 63, of Newport News, VA, passed away on August 26, 2022, at Sentara
CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA.

2022, at 10:00 a.m.
Gustavo Diaz was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico to Edelmiro Diaz and Anilda Diaz on
May 16, 1959. He graduated from Denbigh High School in 1977. He served in the
United States Army and served one oversea tour in Japan.
Gustavo was preceded in death by his loving parents.
Gustavo Diaz is survived by his sisters, Irma Diaz and Nordelie Diaz, three nephews,
Adrian Lane, Dorian Lane, Holden Posthumus and two nieces, Bryanna Suarez and
Taylor Posthumus.
