Georgette Denise Henderson, 64, transitioned from this earth to heaven at her youngest son’s (Anthony) residence in Virginia Beach on Monday, September 11, 2023.
Georgette was a member of Hoston High School’s Class of ’77 as well as a member of Grace Bible Church and retired from Little Creek Sanitarium Nursing Home.
Georgette was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Cannon; sister, Alice Juanita Dyer; parents, George Cannon and Alice Clifton Dyer as well as other relatives.
She will be remembered by her husband James Henderson; her two sons, Anthony and Joseph Kirkpatrick; grandchildren, Anthony, Brian, Ariyanna and Armani Kirkpatrick and siblings, Tiffany and Brian Cannon, Lonnie, James (June), Alvin and Debbie Dyer, Alesia Clifton, Sarah Valentine and a host of additional relatives and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held of Friday, September 22, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5033 Rouse Drive in Virginia Beach. Her brother, Lonnie Dyer, will be officiating.
