George Alfred Masel, 86, of Newport News, VA, died January 15, 2021. He was born December 30, 1934, in New York, NY, to Charles and Mabel Masel.
George proudly served in the United States Army for 28 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Masel, of 55 years; and his daughter Alice Mastle. Survivors include his granddaughter, Amanda Dellostritto (Todd); and three great-grandsons, Scott, Aric, and TJ. George’s family will hold a private service for him.
Altmeyer Funeral Home-Denbigh Chapel, is assisting with arrangements.
