Frederick Ebeling age 84 of Virginia Beach died on November 5, 2022.

He was born on November 15, 1937 to Frederick and Irene Ebeling (Horner) in the State of New York. After attending school, Fred enlisted into the United States Navy, serving until retirement with over 20 years of service under his belt. Following his navy career, he continued to serve in civil service, continuing to serve on military facilities as a police officer.

Frederick is survived by his siblings, Marion Mitchel, Jean DiCiaccio, George Horner, Doreen Reese, Judy Lewis his children, Debbie Horner, Brenda Detoye, Connie Lee Ebeling, Fred Ebeling, Jr., Kathy Drumwright, Grandchildren, Jessica Fuchs, Dan Buck, Sarah Buck, Joey Denson, Jr., James Wesley Denson, Kyle Drumwright, Taylor Drumwright, Kourtney Ebeling, Austin Ebeling. Also left to cherish his memory are a handful of great-grandchildren and friends. He is predeceased by his wife, Kathy Jo Ebeling (Humphreys).

During his down time, you can always catch a good game of bowling with Fred, or  watch him cheer on for “them Cowboys” any chance he had to catch the game.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, 7:00 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home – Southside Chapel, Virginia Beach, VA, with Eric Thomas, First Baptist Norfolk, officiating.

My condolences to my loving Family in Virginia Beach. Uncle Fred will always live on in my heart and the great memories we shared over the years are etched in my mind and in my soul. God has called him home and ended his suffering. He is now at peace with Kathy, and my Mom (Ruth Church) his sister and all his family and friends that await his final resting place in Heaven.
