Fred P. Bellinger, 63, passed away December 31, 2015. He was a beloved father and grandfather, former paramedic and cardiac technician with the NNFD. He was a martial arts and a folk music enthusiast. While Mr. Bellinger was withdrawn in his later years, those who knew him will remember him for the selflessly loving and amazingly talented man he truly was.
Left to cherish his memories are his two daughters, Elizabeth S. Spurlin and Patricia E. Bellinger; two sons-in-law and five granddaughters.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Altmeyer Funeral Home-Denbigh Chapel, 12893 Jefferson Ave. Newport News. Interment will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park.

Dear Elizabeth and Patricia.
I am so sorry to hear about Fred and your loss. I have had no way to contact either of you and Fred would not always answer the phone. I have many memories of him as well and would love to talk to you. You know Ernest passed last December 19. I regret that I cannot come this Saturday. I do hope you will contact me so we can keep up with one another.
