I had the privilege of driving Forrest’s bus route on a substitute basis several times last school year and this school year. Forrest was always full of light and joy; every time I saw him. He had a quirk. I don’t know if it was just with me or if he did this with his regular driver, but he would board the bus and proudly announce that we were in some random US city. Then, just 2 stops later, when he disembarked, he’d announce we were somewhere else entirely! Bus route from Austin TX to Baltimore MD. Every single time without fail. Sometimes he’d blank and ask me to pick a place.
He was a sweet, kind, imaginative child. I will miss him dearly. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

As a grandfather of a Bear Cub Scout, and a Eagle, Class of 1973 , I can only give you my heartfelt hugs…Words would never fill the void…When you hear the camp fire cracking, when you see the sparks flying into the night sky..this is Forrest…When you see the stars twinkling brightly at night…it is Forrest….When the wind gently caresses your face , it is Forrest…Bless everyone…
