Floyd Lemuel Eggleston, (Buddy) 81, passed away peacefully at his home on June 9, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Catherine Brittle Eggleston (Tootsie). He is also survived by his three children: Steven Mark Eggleston and his wife Kendra, of Lexington, Massachusetts, Mitchell Lee Eggleston and his wife Sue, of Appomattox, Virginia, and Sharon Eggleston Day and her husband Mike, of Suffolk, Virginia; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; a great-granddaughter due in October; a very special brother-in-law, George D. Brittle; and many loving extended family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Friday, June 12, 2015 at 1:00pm Altmeyer Funeral Home Maestas Chapel. The family will be receiving friends beginning at noon. Please visit www.AltmeyerFH.com to offer condolences to the family.
