Emanuel Wiley Miller, Jr., of Virginia Beach, entered Eternal Life on June 23, 2016 at the age of 61 years. He was born on September 16, 1954 in Miami, Florida to Emanuel Wiley Miller, Sr. and Vernell (formerly Cooper) Griffin. He pursued a vocation as a Navy Communications Specialist, spending twenty-one years in service to his country.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Rose Miller and brother Brian Griffin.
Left to cherish Emanuel’s memory are his beloved wife Carletta Lee Miller; daughter Angela Miller; daughter Lashea Miller; son Emanuel Miller and his wife Yvette; sister Teresa Randolph; grandchild Aiden M. Estrada; grandchild Briseis M. Estrada; grandchild Malia J. Miller; and Aunt Dorothy Sutton. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Emanuel will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Altmeyer Funeral Home (5792 Greenwich Rd. Virginia Beach) from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Repass to follow the Service. Final rest at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, at a later date.
