Scott, I am so sorry. I just found out. You ARE a wonderful, Godly couple. Eileen was and is well loved…one of God’s angels on earth. There are so many memories. The memory I take with me is the humor, no matter what life threw at you. There was laughter. AIOA! God bless you and sustain you. Love, Anita

Aunt Eileen was a nice and generous aunt to me and my family. We will really miss her kindness, words of advice and prayers. We pray that God forgive her all her sins and grant Uncle Scott and the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

I am truly sorry to learn of Ms. Eileen’s passing. She was a very special lady, and I am thankful that my family had the chance to get to know her over Christmas in Alabama. She lived up to all of the wonderful things we had heard from Ned. Scott, we are so sorry for your loss, and you will be in our thoughts and prayers during this time.

I am so sorry for your loss. It was a true pleasure to meet Ms. Eileen when you both came to Alabama for Christmas with Dexter. I enjoyed listening to her stories and sharing an evening with a caring, beautiful lady. May God bless and keep you.

Mrs. Eileen Hessek, “Aunt Eileen,” was the Best Godmother in the world. Godmother to some people is just a title, but it was a very real and significant role for her. When my Father and Mother passed, “Aunt Eileen” revealed this in a tremendous way. She was always praying for me, cautioning me, and advising me. It is wonderful to be loved in that way. We also shared a love of classic film from the Golden Era. We could talk for hours about the great directors, actors, studios, and genres of film. She was always so enthused about the pieces that I have written on film. I will miss sharing them along with our lengthy discussions. Most of all, I will miss her and that great safety net of prayer and love for me. She was the Best. May God bless and keep you “Aunt Eileen” until I see you again.

To our cruising friends: Scott, you and Eileen are dear to our hearts. I am so glad we met on a cruise and have been able to get together since then. Eileen was such a special lady and we will remember her and her smile in the days ahead. She is enjoying the pleasures of heaven and one day we will all be reunited with the Lord. ❤️

Knowing Eileen since back in the 1970’s has always been a tremendous blessing!
Eileen was such a loving and caring lady. It’s impossible to put into words how much we and so many others valued her Christian-based friendship over the years.
She now has graduated into His loving arms where there is no more illness or health issues. Her work with SIDS is to be praised. We share our love for Eileen along with sooo many others.
With Love in Christ, David and Maryann
