Edmund “Eddie” Lawson, witty and full of life, bid his final farewell on July 10, 2023, in Virginia. Born on May 30, 1987, Edmund lived a vibrant life, making every moment count. He leaves behind a treasure trove of memories for his surviving family and friends to cherish.

Left to cherish the memories of Eddie is his mother Estelita (Andy) Lawson. Siblings; Antoinette Smith of Florida, Antonio Amistoso of California, Pauline Lawson, and Sherryl (Tim) Cheary; also mourning the loss of Eddie is his partner Crystal; son Jr.; daughter Kehlani; step son Julian.
Known for his quick wit and sharp sense of humor, Edmund always had the perfect quip ready to lighten any situation. He had an extraordinary talent for brightening even the dullest of days, leaving smiles in his wake. Edmund touched the lives of many, leaving behind an empty space that can never be filled. He earned himself a degree in engineering and worked as a machinist at STIHL. In his absence, may we remember the joy he brought into our lives and keep his memory alive through laughter and lightheartedness.
To celebrate Eddie’s life, a prayer service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 5pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home Southside Chapel 5033 Rouse Dr, in Virginia Beach. Afterward, the family will commune with friends and share in their memories from 5:30 – 9pm.
Edmund touched the lives of many, leaving behind an empty space that can never be filled. In his absence, may we remember the joy he brought into our lives and keep his memory alive through laughter and lightheartedness.
