Always a loving man
How we will miss Lion Sandy at Diabetes camp. Your smile, laughter and organizational skills made our Family camp joyful. Your CHKD Diabetes Center family will think of Sandy fondly every spring as we start to plan.
Seeing Sandy in church on Sunday morning, and always with a smile and firm handshake. Will miss him terribly.
Dosis and family. My prayers and thoughts go out to you. I finer man I have not met. As you have lost a great man, God has gained a great Angel. You will always be in my prayers.
Donnie Gray
Spending time with Sandy was always a treat. He was so warm and friendly. The CHKD Diabetes Family Camp will never be the same. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
I have known Sandy since high school days at Cradock in the fifties and followed him from afar as he distinguished himself in civic affairs. He was an exemplary civic servant, who lived a good life.
My deepest sympathy to Doris and their children.
May he rest in peace.

I was so saddened to hear about Sandy. The family will be in my prayers.
Thinking of you all during this time.
