Don has akways been an extraordinary co-worker. Always available, always with an answer, always polite. Upon request he will always check the weather forecast for me and make sure I would go home safe and sound. He was the best meteorologist I have known!
I will miss him a lot and I hope he can now rest in peace.
My deepest condolences to his family.

Vic and I are so sorry for your loss. Don was an awesome man! Our shop has been right across from his Office door for the past 16 years. I already miss seeing him stand there throughout the day. Don was a fellow night owl and I would always feel safe knowing he was there. If you had a question, he had the answer… From cars to the weather there wasn’t a subject that he didn’t know something about. He was smart but also humble. Don will be missed! I pray that the Lord gives you comfort and peace in this time of sorrow, and that he allows the happy memories to flood in and give you joy!

May our Lord bless and comfort you and your family during this time of grief.
A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on. I will lift you and your family in my prayers. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I’ve known Don Poppendieck since 1994. I’m sorry he has passed. He was one of the most honest and friendly people I know. I will miss him greatly. I was lucky enough to have talked with him in late November. He always had a smile in his voice.
