David Edgar Kelley Sr.

David Edgar Kelley, Sr.,72, of Virginia Beach, passed away in his home on October 13, 2015.
He was born in Michigan to the late Edgar and Alice Kelley. He served in the U.S. Navy for 28 years and served during the Vietnam War. After retiring from the Navy, David worked as a Mechanical Coordinator for A.M.S.E.C.
David is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary K. Kelley; son, David E. Kelley, Jr.; three daughters, Frankie Denise Kerkoff, Beth Kelley, and Erin Kelley; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Terry Kelley; and two sisters, Christi LaBarge and Ruth Barnier.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday October 18 from 4-6pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 11:00am with burial to follow with full military honors in the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
