03/06/1992 - 07/04/2023

Christina Nichole Bess, a compassionate and outgoing soul who touched the lives of many, unexpectedly passed away on July 4, 2023, in Norfolk, Virginia. Born on March 6, 1992, in Portsmouth, Virginia, Christina lived a life filled with kindness, joy, and a deep love for sea animals, particularly dolphins.

Though her time on this Earth was shorter than we anticipated, Christina made a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warm smile and genuine heart would illuminate any room she entered, and she effortlessly spread positivity and happiness wherever she went.

Christina’s love for sea animals led her to develop a deep fascination with marine life. She found solace and joy in visiting zoos and learning about these magnificent creatures. Additionally, Christina had a passion for coloring, which allowed her to express her creativity and find tranquility in the beauty of the world.

In the presence of Christina, one could not help but be inspired by her unwavering goodness. She consistently displayed selflessness and compassion towards others, reminding us all to treat one another with kindness and empathy. These qualities left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who crossed paths with her.

Christina is preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Susan Jane Waddell. She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love. Surviving family members include her brother, Christopher N. Bess, and her mother, Susan M. Hayes. In addition, Christina’s warm spirit touched the lives of numerous cousins and friends, who will forever hold her dear in their hearts.

As we bid farewell to Christina Nichole Bess, may we remember her as an inspiration to lead lives filled with compassion and love. While our hearts ache with the pain of her loss, let us find solace in knowing that she now rests peacefully, surrounded by the beauty she so adored.

May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her, and may we find comfort in the thought that Christina’s legacy will continue to inspire acts of kindness and goodness in our lives.
