Cecilia Grace Gillikin
Chesapeake – Cecilia Grace Gillikin, 70, died March 26, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Gillikin was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Eldon C. and Madaleen Snead Hobson. She was a homemaker and above all a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her life centered around caring for and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Daniel and Timothy Hobson.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 51 years, Charles C. Gillikin, Sr.; children, Tina Nelson and her husband, Chris Timchak of Chesapeake, Tammy Gillikin and her husband Keith Hall of Chesapeake, Charles Gillikin, Jr. and his wife Allison of Chesapeake, Michael Gillikin and his wife, April of Norfolk, and Angela Rands and her husband, Jonathan of Dyersburg, TN; sister, Deborah Hobson Leggett of Norfolk; fourteen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
The family will be celebrating Mrs. Gillikin’s life on Wednesday at 12:00pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Chesapeake, pastor Russel Holland officiating. Express condolences to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.
