Carl David Workman

Carl D. Workman, 50, went home to be with the Lord on June 20, 2016 at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Philadelphia, Pa. He was born October 30, 1965 in Elyria, Oh. He owned and operated Acorn Landscaping for many years. He was an active member of Horizon Community Church in Chesapeake. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Amanda Workman, and sister, Doris Workman. He is survived by his beloved wife, Robin (Capps) Workman; his daughters Angela Stratton of Greenwood, Fl and Rachael Waldron of Altha, Fl; his sister Angela Saunders and husband Bob of Altha, Fl and brother Dwayne Workman and wife Debbie of Moyock, NC; Four grandchildren, Gabriel, Raul, Rose, and Tobias; two nieces and one nephew; many relatives and friends and his two very beloved beagles, Jasmine and Melody. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 2-3 pm with a celebration of his life immediately following at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Rd., Va Beach.
