Coach Booth,
The best teacher and Coach I had as a young man. I have thought about him many times throughout my life. He believed in me when other’s did not. He encouraged me and I felt his love for me as a student at Kempsville Jr. High 1974. I think his example of teaching must have been felt by many. I thank the Lord for him today as I searched for him and I found this news. Best Teacher I ever had. My condolences to your family. May God’s great love comfort and keep you always.

Lin and Family… So sorry for your loss. He was a classmate and friend of mine through the years of Saltville Schools. I married a neighbor of his and we moved to Danville, Va. I have many pleasant memories of him and our schoolmates. God will be with you during these days of heartache. Sorry I can’t be there.

I was sorry to learn Coach Booth has passed on. I wrestled for him in 1972 and 1973 at Kempsville Junior High. He was a Good Man. I remember him giving teammates and I rides home in his VW after practice. His passed along his passion, commitment, and competitiveness to all of us and we enjoyed Championship seasons those two years as a result. It was Good to see our team pictures in his Tribute video. God Bless him and his family. I know he is missed.
