Beverley Anne Bozard

Beverley Anne Bozard, 85, beloved step-mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2016. She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on Sept.10, 1930, to the late William Stanley and Mary Lesley Becher. She was the youngest of 3 children. Bev was predeceased by her loving husband, Everett Thomas Bozard; her brother William Becher, sister Barbara Walin; and niece Lesley Anne Fountain.
Bev worked at Sears Roebuck & Co. for 27 years in the personnel department. She and Everett retired in the Florida Keys in 1990 and lived there until 2007 when they relocated to Virginia Beach to be closer to their son and family.
Bev was an avid reader and enjoyed swimming and snorkeling. She will be remembered for her infectious smile, her quick witted humor and her kind and generous heart.
Beverely is survived by her step-son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Deborah Bozard; 3 grandchildren Brooke (Bobby) Crisher, Sean (Cassie) Bozard and Heather Bozard; 3 great-grandsons (Gunner, Griffin and Granger); great niece Mary Willis and great-great nephew William Scott Fountain.
There will be a memorial service at 10 AM Saturday, April 2, 2016, in the Chapel at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 4560 Princess Anne Rd. Virginia Beach, VA. In Lieu flowers, it is requested that donations be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Alzheimer’s Association.
