Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, in the homegoing of Betty. We pray that our Father’s overwhelming peace and presence will be with you in the days to come.
I never met Mrs. Betty, but I met Mr. Phil and both their daughters. I was a roommate of Mr. Phil’s at Lake Taylor. He had told me the problems she was having and his concerns for her, now through her faith, God has ended those struggles and brings her peace of soul in heaven. My prayers and my heart pour out to the family with all that has faced them in the last few months.
In the many decades that I knew the lovely Mrs. Steinfield, she faithfully lived a life of purity, hope and reverence for both her husband and her LORD. Her beauty did not come from outward adornment; rather, her beauty was that of her inner heart – the unfading beauty of her gentle and quiet spirit – which is of great worth in the sight of her God. She devotedly fulfilled her holy calling to be a Godly wife and mother- and she lived as an example of 1 Peter 3 before her daughters and her husband.
