She shall be missed by her many friends. She was a great lady and a great friend. My husband and I enjoyed traveling with Betty and Joe for many years and especially flying in to the Greenbrier for brunch.

I worked with Betty at Newport News Savings & Loan, also TideMark Bank. She always had an interesting story to tell. I enjoyed being around her and admired her accomplishments as well as her personality. I’ve often thought about Betty over the past years, may she rest peacefully.

I worked with Betty for 17 years at Newport News Savings & Loan and learned so much from her. She could relate an event or story so well that you thought you were there! We had many laughs and good times. So sad to hear of her passing.
