I am so very sad for the passing of Betsy. I have known her forever as her parents and grandma were close friends of my parents in Johnstown NY. Betsy used to babysit me and I loved combing her long blonde hair!! She played the piano and organ at our church and my mom gave her lessons. She was so kind and caring, no wonder she became a minister!! She has been reunited with her family and husband in heaven but has left a hole in the universe we live in. Condolences to her beautiful children and grandchildren that she loved dearly. Peace be with you all.

Betsy was a joy to work with at Rutland UMC when I was pastor there. Then some years later we re-connected and traveled together on cruises over the past 8 years or so. We loved having Betsy with us as one of our cruising companions. Her time with us in Rome, Barcelona and on the ships brought joy to us and everyone she met. We will miss her. Love always wins, and Betsy was all about joy and love.

We loved having Betsy as our RUMC Administrative Assistant, handbell ringer with the Bells of Joy and Organist. What a lovely life! Loved reading how she started her love of traveling as a young woman! May the blessings of many wonderful memories sustain all of her family and friends during this time of loss.
