Belva B. Begnaud, “MINO” proud to be from Berea, KY., was born March 20, 1922, and passed away October 20, 2015. She has gone to be with her husband of 65 years Allen L. Begnaud, “Mr. B”.  She is survived by her two daughters Lanny Chatfield her husband Russell Chatfield, and Bonny Kelly; two grandchildren Rodney Nelson girlfriend Tiffiny Ebner, and Adam Little; two great grandchildren Kasey and Christopher and many other nieces and nephews.
Belva retired from the Norfolk Public School System at Rosemont Middle School as a home to school community worker. She also worked for the March of Dimes as well as the American Cancer Society.
She was an avid swimmer and gardener.
She will be forever loved and remembered by all who knew her.
The services will held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Bayview United Church of Christ, 1051 Bayview Blvd., Norfolk, VA. 23503.

Mino its kasey, I am so sorry that i was not there. I would of been there if i was informed. I loved you so much, and miss you so much. You were the best ever. Rest in peace you will forever be in my heart! love you!!!!!!

Belva was the first person we met when attending Bayview UCC. She always smiled, hugged you and told you how great you looked. She will be missed by many. There is a very special angel now in Heaven.

Farewell to my old swimming buddy abd later breakfast buddy. I have missed seeing you these last few years. I miss you.
