Barbara – as we sent you into eternal rest; we reflect on your life, your love for family, and your love for your career & patients. You taught us all so much about how to be good hospice nurses & the absolute meaning of those words. You taught us to be better women, moms, and was there for me personally for many of my lows. You always encouraged us when we were down; lifted us up if we fell, and always checked on each and every one of us to make sure we were ok, even in times when you werent. You were am amazing mom, sister, daughter and friend. Your babies always came first and you loved them unconditionally. WE love you and will continue to honor you in our work in gods waiting room. We will continue to reflect on on your amazingness and pure heart. We know you are now at peace and we will all meet together again. Until we meet again!

Barb was one of my closest friends for many years! She was so strong and a great nurse. I admired her strength with she was faced with adversity and she taught me that nothing is stronger than hope and pushing through tough times! She loved the Lord and trusted him and I am sure she is embracing the everlasting life!

We are so sorry to hear about Barb. She was our mom’s nurse at Harmony and always felt she and the rest of the team at Westminster were the best. Barb was so caring and always made our mom smile. She would update us after her visits and would always end the text with a positive note. She will be greatly missed. Holding her family close in our hearts but hope it gives them comfort in how much she was loved.

Barb was my husband’s nurse and could not have been more compassionate and sensitive to his needs and mine. We had just spent time with her the Monday before she passed away and had been developing a relationship with her over the past year. Barb was born the same year as our son who is also a nurse. My heart is breaking for your loss. We have lost an extraordinarily sensitive, compassionate, irreplaceable nurse and a dear friend. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family.

My mom was in home hospice for over a year & was so incredibly blessed to have Barb as her nurse. She came into our home every week with a smile on her face and always treated ny mom with compassion & respect. She was diagnosed with cancer during the time she was caring for my mom & I always admired her strength through it all. I can’t imagine the loss her family & friends are feeling but hope the memories you have and knowing how many lives are better because of her , fill your hearts and help ease your pain. Prayers to you all
