On the morning of June 20, 2016, the Lord called home one of his most prized possessions. Arlethia Stevenson, who was affectionately called Monet`, was a faithful member of New Jerusalem COGIC in Va Beach where she served faithfully in ministry for 20 years. She was predeceased by her father, Elmore LaSalle Wilson. Monet is survived by her loving husband of 7 years, William J. Stevenson, III; 6 beautiful children, Carlos, Alfonzo (Dyche`), Vivica, Vondell, Valene and her bundle of joy Jordan; mother, Helen Patricia Wilson; sister, Katrina Stewart (Randy) and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Her celebration of life will be held, 11am, Friday, June 24, 2016 in New Jerusalem COGIC, VA Beach. The family will receive visitors from 6-8pm on Thursday at Altmeyer Funeral Home on Greenwich Rd in VA Beach.
