Chesapeake – Ann Callis Alston, 98, died November 10, 2015.  Mrs. Alston was born in Norfolk to the late George Franklin Callis and Jurushia Ann Ripley Callis.  She was a member of Norfolk General Alumni Association and a strong conservative Republican.  She was predeceased by her husband, Claude Kitchin Alston; sister, Alvirta Heath and George Franklin Callis.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, James Franklin Alston of Norfolk; daughters, Mary Ann O’Donnell and her husband Sean of Ontario, Canada and Julia Wallace and her husband John of Aberdeen, MD; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.
