Andrew S. Zuidema, 87, passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of January 4, 2017.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 32 years Ruth; daughters, Frances & Sharon; son, Craig; seven step-children, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will have a private service at a later date.

To my Iron man,
My father In-Law was a very special man. We laughed and at times I was told “don’t make Andy laugh it will hurt him”. No way, we had a lot in common for an old man and son in-law. Andy, listened and gave great advice. His sense of humor was witty with a big heart. Mom gave him 32+ years of true love and happiness, he was very blessed. We will all miss him until we meet again in heaven. God bless mom, you are always in our prayers. Love David.
I’m sorry to hear of Andy’s passing. I worked with him for many years at NARDAC Norfolk/NCTAMSLANT. In the early years I was learning programming and Andy was a systems analyst. He was very helpful to me as I was learning how everything worked. I distinctly remember the time Andy and I were in Vic Kennerly’s office and we had so much smoke in there you could hardly see in the office (a long time ago). I enjoyed my association with Andy very much and he will be missed.
