Andrew John Snyder, II, affectionately known as Drew, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, in Norfolk, Virginia, at the age of 62. Born on November 17, 1961, in Portsmouth, Virginia, Drew lived a remarkable life filled with love, joy, and dedication.
Drew resided in Virginia Beach, Virginia, for 35 years, forming deep connections with the community and leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him.
Drew had an extensive career as a Sales Representative primarily in the Beverage Industry, where his charisma and charm left a lasting impression on all those he encountered. His passion for his work was evident in his unwavering commitment and ability to connect with others.
When Drew wasn’t hard at work, he found happiness pursuing his favorite hobbies. He was an avid griller who delighted in preparing meals for family and friends. Drew also enjoyed fishing, finding tranquility by the water and savoring every moment spent with a fishing rod in hand. Sports, especially football, held a special place in his heart, with his unwavering support for the Cowboys and the University of Michigan.
Drew was a cherished husband of 29 years to his beloved wife, Susan Snyder. Their partnership was defined by love, respect, and shared adventures. Together, they built a life filled with cherished memories.
He was also a loving father to his children, Nick Snyder, Andrew Snyder, III, and his fiancé, Salina, Emily Snyder and Ryan White, and her husband Jarrod, offering them endless love, encouragement, and support. He was incredibly proud of them all and their achievements brought him immeasurable joy.
Throughout his life, Drew was supported by his brother Craig Snyder. Their bond provided solace and comfort during both joyful and challenging times.
Drew is predeceased by his mother Kathryn “Ann” Krieg Snyder, father Andrew J. Snyder I and his brother Richard Snyder.
