Alan J Grossman passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 in Virginia Beach, VA at home surrounded by his dogs and Loving family.
Born on June 19, 1957 to Irving and Irene Grossman in New Brunswick, NJ where he graduated from New Brunswick High School.
He spent the last 22 years of his life with his life partner and wife Christine (Chrisie) Ciccone.
Alan served 10-1/2 years in the U.S. Navy as a Sub Mariner Strategic and Tactical Communications Technician. He was a great father of three children.
He loved dogs and rescued/adopted several dogs providing them with permanent loving homes. He enjoyed life and telling jokes, performing magic, and meeting new people, making people laugh and smile. He did not know a stranger. He liked cooking, trying new seasonings and cooking methods then sharing the meals with friends.
He is pre-deceased by his parents and his sister Pearl Grossman.
Survived by Christine (Chrisie) Ciccone of Virginia Beach, VA and his daughters Heather Pasciak of Edmond, OK and Ashley Danielle Mimms-Adams of GA and his son Jay Grossman of Bridgewater, NJ
Services and burial with military honors will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday February 16th, 2022 at the Albert G Horton, Jr Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk VA.
In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Virginia Beach SPCA or to the American Cancer Society.

Chris, I am so sorry to hear of Al’s passing!!! He was always a jokester and made me laugh!! Sending you prayers during this new chapter in life. I know he’s no longer suffering but I’m sure he’s giving them a good laugh wherever he may be!!
