Frank Joseph “JoJo” Cermak, 36, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. JoJo was born in Denville, New Jersey on August 20, 1986 to Frank and Frannie Cermak. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland University College where he received his MBA.
JoJo enlisted in the United States Army at the age of 20 where he served as a combat flight medic. He was medically retired as a decorated combat veteran in 2015 after serving his country faithfully. He was a loving son, dedicated father, adoring brother, and friend to everyone he met.
Left to cherish Joe’s memory are his family Amanda, Blake, Liam, and Hadley; his parents Frank and Frannie; his sisters Tara and Jessica; as well as a countless number of loving friends and family members.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5033 Rouse Drive in Virginia Beach. A celebration of life will follow at his sister’s home in Smithfield, Virginia.
