Bucktrout of Williamsburg has a rich history dating back to 1759 when it started as a cabinet and casket maker in Colonial Williamsburg. As the oldest funeral home in America, Bucktrout has been serving the Williamsburg community and surrounding areas with premium funeral services for generations.

Our facility has undergone a beautiful remodel, offering modern amenities while preserving its historic charm. The reception room and kitchenette can comfortably host up to 150 guests, making it ideal for gatherings with family and friends. We collaborate with local caterers to create custom menus for your event, whether you prefer a full meal or a cocktail hour.

One of the unique features of our location is the onsite crematory, which allows Altmeyer to manage the entire cremation process from start to finish. This ensures that your loved ones remain in our professional and compassionate care throughout.

Our chapel accommodates up to 200 people and is equipped with large flat-screen televisions, perfect for displaying video tributes during the service. We also have two separate visitation rooms, providing the flexibility to serve multiple families at once.

For your convenience, our facility includes a large drive-through awning, allowing you and your guests to avoid exposure to the elements, ensuring a comfortable experience even on rainy days.

If you’re looking for a funeral home with a deep sense of history and a commitment to excellence, Bucktrout of Williamsburg is here for you. Contact us today to learn more about our services or to schedule a tour.
